19th century oil painting on board girl by a stream.

An interesting original oil painting.

Painted on board showing an unusual scene of a girl say by a stream. Two other characters are peering over the rocks at her.

Very typical of the late 19th century.

Unsigned by the artist. In it’s original gilt frame.

There are some wear to the gesso frame and a little paint loss to the painting its self.

All in all an interesting highly decorative piece.
