Antique hand carved wooden elephant.
Circa 1900
This is an incredible piece of carving. Made in solid wood with incredible attention to detail. Painted detail on the trunk and head.
Wooden painted tusks.
Signed to the base by the artist in sanscrit.
In excellent condition. The ears are attached to the head separately, the body made form one piece of solid wood. The head attached separately along with the tail. A little chip on his tail where it attaches as shown in the last image.
