A pair of tribal figures.

An interesting pair of hand carved tribal carvings. Depicting a male and female. Beautifully hand carved in tropical hardwood. 

Each figure has a hole in the top possibly for a small candle?

The figures sit in a detachable wooden ring that supports them.

Overall in excellent condition. One stand has a small chip in the rim.

We would date these figures to the earlier part of the 20th Century.

Each one stands at 19 cm tall x 7 cm diameter.
