Brass sculpture representing Laurent de Medici (January 1, 1449-April 9, 1492) known as "Laurent the Magnificent"
Based on the original work of Michelangelo (1465-1564) made for the burial of Laurent de Medici, Duke of Urbino, and visible in the new sacristy of the Church of San Lorenzo in Florence.
This is a super brass sculpture mid to early 20th Century
Mounted on a marble plinth
