Antique Bronze Manila West African Tribal Currency Slave Bracelet.

A fabulous original example quite early 19th century.

Made in bronze these pieces were used as currency in large parts of Africa right up until the 1940’s

This piece is very decorative and splits into two pieces that fit together. Possibly to be worn which given the weight of this would not be pleasant.
