Vintage Crucifix German Prisoner Of War Hand Made 1942.

A very interesting and evocative crucifix.

This piece was hand made by a French prisoner in a German POW camp.

Inscription to the back reads “ Sculpted in Germany 1942 prisoner of Germans “ “ Mousty Casimir”

The front is inscribed 1942 souvenir D’Allemagne

Quite a lovely piece with a remarkable history.
