A lovely 18th Century chest
Circa 1750
Standing on bracket feet with the original brass handles most unusual as they are usually changed as we go down the years and the fashions change.
Quarter veneer top and thick walnut veneer drawer fronts.
The sides look to have been re veneered at some point as do the Bottom drawer.
There are plenty of signs of wear and missing veneer etc. This isn’t a perfect example by any means and has lots of wear and age. If you like your antiques restored don’t buy this. If you do like pieces with bags of character that really tell a story then this is a beautiful chest with history in spades.
