Continental 19th Century Mahogany Washstand .
A late 19th Century probably Continental box wood strung mahogany finished washstand of circular form.
The upright is set with six graduated apertures. The centre has a circular tooled leather inset.
Supported on shaped legs united by a fancy shaped stretcher terminating in brass cast cabots.
Measures 91 cm high and 63 cm deep approx
A very unusual washstand that would have been set with a washbasin originally.
Overall nice condition for its 19th century age. Some boxwood stringing is missing etc and signs of wear as you may expect given its age.
