Arts and Crafts stylised crucifix

Antique stylised crucifix circa 1900

A very interesting crucifix in the arts and crafts style Wooden construction covered in brass panels with a raised repousse figure of christ. Hand painted in rich blue and orange. The figure is topped by an orange glass cabochon typical of the period.

The image itself is very stylised and makes a superb decorative statement.

Quite nice overall condition a little paint loss in places but consistent with the age of the cross.
