Born in 1947 and now based in Barcelona Theo Booth celebrates the jazz age with his glamorous and evocative widely collected paintings.

His influences are plain to see from Picasso, Modigliani and Tamara Lempica amongst others.

Although he takes his inspiration from these artists his style is vey much is own. There is a delicious air of decadence to much of his work.

This piece is entitled “ The Treat”. Painted in oils on board and framed in a contemporary frame. The lady relaxes on her deckchair enjoying her ice cream. Her companion is relaxing next to her . The ice cream is seductively melting and dripping down. It’s quite a statement full of promises of the afternoon to come.

The painting is in super condition. There are some marks to the top of the frame.
