A fabulous ink well by top Class Birmingham silver smith Ellis & Co. ( Ellis Jacob Greenberg)

Quite nice overall condition with a few marks here’s and there but nothing that isn’t consistent with the age of the piece. Lovely hinged lid with some dings to it but gain nothing inconsistant with age.

These are fabulous little items to sit upon a desk and would have been a much loved item when it would have been used daily. If only this little treasure could talk !
