A very interesting Chinese seal / print block.
Beautifully carved in a regional hardwood typical of the period.
Early 19th century.
Mounted on an iron spike mounted in a wooden block for support.
A fascinating decorative piece with lots of history and a super tactile feel to it. Stained with the red ink that would have been used in the printing process.
