This is a fabulous example made around 1960. Pure wool with cotton warp. Fabulous rich red which has a soft mellow tone. Cream and blue / grey highlights.
Overall excellent condition for its age. Some wear as may be expected. A beautiful rug for instant country house style and a luxurious feel underfoot.
