Vintage Floral Folding Bed Tray – Black Painted Wooden Lap Table with Butterflies
TITLE
Vintage Floral Folding Bed Tray – Black Painted Wooden Lap Table with Butterflies
DESCRIPTION
A charming vintage wooden folding bed or lap tray with an unusual curved shape and beautifully faded floral decoration.
The black-painted tray features a romantic arrangement of colourful flowers surrounded by butterflies, with traces of gilt decoration around the edge. The folding wooden legs allow it to be used as a breakfast tray, reading table or decorative bedside piece, and fold beneath the tray when not required.
Probably dating from the early to mid-20th century, it has a wonderfully timeworn appearance that would suit a traditional, cottagecore or vintage-inspired interior.
Approximate dimensions:
Width: 58 cm
Depth: 31 cm
Height with legs open: 17 cm
This is a genuine vintage piece with visible age-related wear, including rubbing, surface marks, scratches and losses to the painted and floral decoration. These signs of use contribute greatly to its character. Please examine all photographs carefully, as they form part of the description.
