Signed S Oakley Abstract Futurist Painting Space Age Concorde 70 x 60cm
An unusual and highly decorative original abstract painting, signed “S. Oakley” to the lower right.
The composition has a wonderfully retro-futurist appearance, featuring sweeping aircraft or Concorde-like forms against a huge orange sun, with industrial, architectural and planetary elements below. The textured areas and bold colours give it a striking Space Age feel.
Presented in its original silver-coloured frame and ready to hang.
Approximate overall size: 70 x 60 cm.
In good vintage condition overall, with some minor age-related wear to the painting and frame. Please study all photographs carefully, as these form part of the description.
A unique statement piece for a Mid-Century, retro, industrial or contemporary interior.
