Antique Sphinx Faux Turquoise & Seed Pearl Brooch – Victorian Revival

A beautiful vintage Sphinx brooch in an ornate Victorian Revival style, featuring a striking oval faux turquoise centre with a radiant starburst design set with a faux seed pearl. The openwork gilt metal frame is decorated with numerous faux turquoise cabochons and elegant floral and foliate details, with three articulated drop pendants adding lovely movement.

A wonderfully decorative statement piece by the respected British costume jewellery maker Sphinx, known for their exceptional quality and craftsmanship.

Condition:
Very good vintage condition overall. One small faux turquoise stone is missing (please see photographs), but it does not detract from the overall appearance. Pin and clasp work perfectly.
