19th Century French Oratory.
This antique French oratory features a beautifully crafted brass mount and a stunning portrayal of Christ. The intricate details of this piece make it a must-have for any collector of religious icons, particularly those with an interest in Christianity. The image of Christ is beautifully hand painted on porcelain.
Set upon a wooden backing board covered with Velvet. Originally blue but now faded to a brown on the front.
Mid 19th century. Hanging hook to the back of the panel.
