Chinese export early 20th Century blue and white Jardiniere.

A beautiful example with hand painted design featuring traditional lotus flowers. Lotus flowers symbolise purity, rebirth and strength. Growing out of the murky water to become beautiful strong plants with stunning flowers. A symbol of rebirth and strength we can all identify with.

This piece is in lovely condition and comes with its original drip catcher. A little nibble to the saucer and around the bottom rim which may be firing nicks but otherwise lovely crisp condition.

This will make a lovely addition to any room and give your special plants a stunning home. Made for the export market from China into England in the early 20th Century and still very sought after today.
