19th Century mahogany table

Georgian Mahogany Console Table Reeded Legs Circa 1830.

A superb mahogany side table / console table.

Beautifully hand made around 1830/1840. Elegant reeded legs ending in brass castors.

One central drawer.

Lovely patina with super signs of wear down the years but this all adds to her beautiful feel.

The top is original and has a deep lustre from many years of waxing. Likewise the legs have a superb patina that can only come with many years of age.

She has a replacement drawer handle but it fits with the period.

Nice and solid. A repair at some point with two screws in the back left hand leg. This isn’t noticeable and doesn’t detract, just signs of it being a well loved country house family piece.

A super size for a hall / by a sofa or in a bedroom maybe.
