Unusual oak long sideboard

A very interesting and unique piece of furniture.

This will look amazing in a hall or in a retail setting.

I assume this was made specifically for the sutcliffe family and it features the family crest in the centre of the piece as well as the date 1904. Beautiful hand carved frieze.

Two side cupboards and three centre drawers with brass door furniture.

Quite possibly this was part of a taller piece perhaps in a library in the family’s country house.But equally it could have been made as a stand alone piece

The back is plain oak boards.

All in all a very interesting piece with real country house credentials.
