Oil on canvas by László Bod 1920/ 2001
Born in 1920 he studied at the Academy of Fine Arts, his
teachers were Rezső Burghardt, István Szőnyi and Ágost Benkhard, later
he became an assistant to Jenő Elekfy. He made study trips to several European countries,
including Switzerland and Finland. From 1949 he was director of the Puppet Theatre for five years

He is the owner of many awards. His works can be seen in the National Gallery in
Szolnok and his hometown.
