A wonderfully expressive vintage studio painting of a seated female

A wonderfully expressive vintage studio painting of a seated female nude.

Painted with loose, confident brushwork and a warm, muted palette. The unfinished background and visible working marks give it the character of an artist’s life study rather than a formal portrait.

Oil on board. Unframed.

There is age-related surface wear and some damage to the lower-left corner, all forming part of its wonderfully timeworn studio character. Please study the photographs carefully.

Measures 70 cm high x 50 cm wide.

A striking, one-of-a-kind piece of original figurative art.
