A really beautiful hand painted screen totally unique.

Painted on canvas over a wooden frame. This three panel screen makes a real statement.

Beautifully painted with trees and and mountains surrounding a lake.

Dating from the latter later of the 19th Century maybe a little earlier.

The condition here is fair for its age. There are some holes in the canvas, quite a lot of age related discolouration to the canvas panels and some old dead woodworm holes in the frame.

But overall it’s an interesting piece which could be restored and the canvas cleaned. We love it just like it is because it tells a real story and would have been a much loved piece of art as well as being very useful. The rear side is plain.

Each panel is 5ft high x 2 ft wide and there are three panels
