Victorian cranberry glass claret jug with pewter mounts.

A rare and interesting 19th Century cranberry glass claret carafe.

Heavy hand blown cranberry coloured glass with a stunning depth of colour. Mounted with pewter handle.

Super condition with no damage which is remarkable for the age of the piece circa 1880.

A couple of air bubble in the glass and imperfections which just adds to the originality of the piece. Some arks to the pewter handle and mounts.

The pewter shows it’s age which we love but of course you could clean this up professionally if you like your pewter shiny like it originally was.

Measures 18 cm x 12 cm approximately.
