Vintage Persian Miniature Painting Horsemen Polo Scene Khatam Inlaid

Vintage Persian Miniature Painting Horsemen Polo Scene Khatam Inlaid Frame

Description
A decorative vintage Persian-style miniature painting depicting mounted horsemen in a traditional polo or chovgan scene.

The central hand-painted panel shows a lively group of riders on horseback, surrounded by stylised trees and landscape details. It is set within a wide pale surround with delicate painted decoration, and finished with an attractive geometric inlaid border in the traditional khatam style.

A very decorative piece with plenty of character and lovely detail, ideal for a gallery wall or as an unusual piece of Middle Eastern / Persian-inspired interior decoration.

Vintage condition with some age-related marks, surface wear and minor discolouration visible, all contributing to its character. Please study the photographs as they form part of the description.
