Watercolour Painting By James Stinton Cock And Hen Pheasants.
Youngest son of John Stinton senior and brother of John Stinton Junior. James Stinton began at Graingers in 1889 moving to Royal Worcester in 1902, specialising in game birds. He did a large number of watercolour paintings of game birds, mainly given to relations.
This is one of those paintings showing a male and female pheasant in a clearing. Beautifully painted in super condition framed under glass ready to hang. Signed by the artist lower left.
