French Gilt Cherub table lamp circa 1920

Antique French table lamp.
A superb example dating from the early 20th century.
Modelled as a cherub seated a top a classical column in the 18th Century style.
Bronze with a gilt finish set upon a marble base. The cherub is very well cast and holds a bunch of grapes aloft.
Good overall condition for its age which would be around 1920 we believe.
A couple of chips to the underside of the circular marble support plinth. Not noticeable and does not detract from the beauty of this very usual lamp. Some discolouration on the main body of the Cherub where the gold has worn away.
Fully pat tested and ready to use.
Stands at 52 cm full height.
X 14 cm diameter approximately at the base.
Bayonet bulb fitting with on off switch under the bulb. Shade not included.
All in all a superb and beautiful decorative lamp. Perfect for adding a touch of classical sophistication to any room in the home.
